About Badger & Peach Meet SarahHi! I’m Sarah Kim, creator of Badger & Peach and former KidMin Director! During my time working in children’s ministry, I found myself wearing many different hats – ‘Social Media Manager,’ ‘Event Planner Extraordinaire,’ and ‘Chaos Coordinator’ just to name a few. Whether you are working part time, full time, or as a volunteer leader, it can easily seem as though Children’s Ministry requires you to be ‘all of the things.’ If only there were more hours in the day! (Especially during VBS season…!) It was sometimes difficult to not feel as if I were off by myself on “KidMin Island”… and I have a hunch that I am not the only ministry leader to feel that way! Let’s face it you need a̶ ̶v̶a̶c̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ a right hand gal! My desire with Badger & Peach is to be a friendly helping hand and provide great KidMin resources, tips, and tricks for you and your ministry. From ‘where to find the best Christian coloring pages’ to ‘how can I involve my preteens in missions,” you’ll be able to find it right here at Badger & Peach! Please feel free to send me a message if you’d like for me to cover something specific on the Blog or if you have a suggestion for a digital download in my Etsy shop! Happy to help! let’s get to the real question Why Badger & Peach? The inspiration for Badger & Peach came from where I served in full time ministry – Wisconsin & Georgia! Between three different churches in these two states, I served as Children’s Ministry Assistant, Children’s Worship Arts Director, Middle School Student Ministry Director, Director of Children & Family Ministries, and Kids Coordinator. Some of my most cherished ministry experiences came from moving 900 miles away from my hometown in GA to WI to work at a church that reached out to me through a church staffing recruiter on LinkedIn…how crazy is that?! Usually, hindsight is 20/20, but I truthfully felt like this was a ‘God thing’ and knew I needed to follow (that’s like Bible Story 101 – we all know what happened to Jonah)! Little did I know, that’s where I would meet some of my very favorite people (including my husband!) and have some of the most amazing KidMin adventures. kidmin tips, tricks & more Looking for some resources?
